February 7, 2025: Clinton, CT 06413 Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT), 60-50 in a league match.
With the victory, Haddam-Killingworth advances its record to 9-9 on the year. The Cougars host North Branford (North Branford, CT) to face the Thunderbirds in a Shoreline match on Saturday, February 8. The Thunderbirds enter the match with a record of 8-7. North Branford lost 65-64 in their recent league match against Valley Regional (Deep River, CT)
The Huskies now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Hampton for a Shoreline match on Monday, February 10.
