Louisiana High School Basketball - St. John fells Ascension Catholic
February 8, 2022: Donaldsonville, LA 70346 St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA), 55-35 in a league bout.
With the win, St. John upgrades its record to 23-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-7. St. Joseph's - Plaucheville lost 62-34 in their recent league bout against Plainview (Glenmora, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 10. Ascension Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Redstickers go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 46-28 league win over Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA).
