February 8, 2022: Mason City, IL Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) and the host Illini Central/Greenview (Mason City, IL), saw Mt. Pulaski's basketball squad wallop Illini Central/Greenview by a tally of 47-19.
With the victory, Mt. Pulaski improves its record to 25-5 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Athens (Athens, IL) to confront the Warriors in a Tomahawk challenge on Thursday, February 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 15-14. Athens won 53-43 in their recent league challenge against Midwest Central (Manito, IL)
Next up, the confront the Havana Ducks (Havana, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 12. Illini Central/Greenview will attempt to improve on its 4-23 season record. The Ducks come into the challenge with a 21-7 record after their 59-57 league win over Cuba (Cuba, IL).
