Delaware High School Basketball - Seaford overwhelms Sussex Academy
February 8, 2024: Georgetown, DE 19947 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE) and the host Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE), saw Seaford's basketball squad wallop Sussex Academy by a tally of 87-12.
With the victory, Seaford improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Glasgow (Newark, DE) to confront the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Glasgow won 64-33 in their recent league challenge against Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE)
Next up, the Seahawks confront the Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) in a Henlopen - Southern challenge, on Friday, February 9. Sussex Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 63-32 league win over Delmar (Delmar, DE).
