Delaware High School Basketball - Seaford overwhelms Sussex Academy
December 14, 2023: Georgetown, DE 19947 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE) and the host Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE), saw Seaford's basketball squad wallop Sussex Academy by a count of 86-14.
With the victory, Seaford upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to North Dorchester (Hurlock, MD) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. North Dorchester lost 65-17 in their recent league challenge against Kent Island (Stevensville, MD)
Next up, the Seahawks play the Early College Hornets (Dover, DE) in a Henlopen - Southern challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Sussex Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 33-27 league loss to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE).
