Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Southern Columbia Area tops Central Columbia
February 9, 2022: Bloomsburg, PA 17815 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA) and the host Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA), saw Southern Columbia Area's basketball squad knock off Central Columbia by a count of 61-51.
With the victory, Southern Columbia Area upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Milton (Milton, PA) to play the Black Panthers in a Heartland II challenge on Saturday, February 12. The Black Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Milton won 57-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA)
Next up, the Bluejays play the Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 12. Central Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Defenders come into the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 71-59 non-league loss to Montgomery (Montgomery, PA).
