The Springport Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Bronson Vikings to 48 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maple Valley for a Big 8 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Springport will meet a Lions team coming off a 52-47 league win over Quincy (Quincy, MI). The Lions record now stands at 8-10.

The Vikings (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Quincy (Quincy, MI). The Orioles enter the Big 8 contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Quincy was defeated by Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI), 52-47, in a league contest.
