North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County nips Pasquotank County

February 9, 2024: Elizabeth City, NC 27909

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) and the host Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC), witnessed Currituck County's basketball squad nip Pasquotank County by a margin of 75-68.

The Knights (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles go into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal test with a 14-7 record.

The Panthers now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to First Flight for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal test on Monday, February 12. Pasquotank County will encounter a Nighthawks squad coming off a 76-42 league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 13-9.
