Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) and the host Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA), saw Toombs County's basketball squad overcome Pierce County by a tally of 51-43.

With the victory, Toombs County improves its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA) to confront the Warriors in a AA Region 3 challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-18. Tattnall County lost 41-33 in their recent league challenge against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA)
