The Pierce County Bears basketball team (Blackshear, GA), was overwhelmed 74-33 in Friday's league battle with the host Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA)

The Indians now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montgomery County for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 16. Vidalia will confront a Eagles team coming off a 60-31 non-league loss to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

The Bears (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Lanier County trounced Berrien (Nashville, GA), 73-35, in a non-league battle.
