New Mexico High School Basketball - Farmington holds off Sandia
February 9, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87110 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) and the host Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), saw Farmington's basketball squad hold off Sandia by a tally of 63-57.
With the victory, Farmington improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. West Mesa lost 59-39 in their recent non-league challenge against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Matadors confront the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Sandia will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record.
