Michigan High School Basketball - Calumet tops West Iron County
February 10, 2023: Calumet, MI 49913 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Calumet Copper Kings (Calumet, MI) and the visiting West Iron County Wykons (Iron River, MI), saw Calumet's basketball squad knock off West Iron County by a count of 47-30.
With the victory, Calumet upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Copper Kings travel to Dollar Bay (Dollar Bay, MI) to play the Bays in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. The Bays come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Dollar Bay won 54-46 in their recent non-league challenge against L'Anse (L'Anse, MI)
Next up, the Wykons play the L'Anse Purple Hornets (L'Anse, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. West Iron County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record.
