Centralia Panthers (Centralia, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Valley Heights Mustangs (Blue Rapids, KS), 53-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Centralia upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Blue Valley (Randolph, KS) to clash with the Rams in a Twin Valley bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 15-2. Blue Valley won 63-39 in their recent non-league bout against Washington County (Washington, KS)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Clifton-Clyde Eagles (Clyde, KS) in a Twin Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Valley Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 60-36 non-league win over Onaga (Onaga, KS).
