Kansas High School Basketball - Valley Heights overwhelmed by Clifton-Clyde
February 14, 2023: Clyde, KS 66938 The Clifton-Clyde Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Valley Heights Mustangs to 45 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centralia for a Twin Valley contest on Friday, February 17. Clifton-Clyde will battle a Panthers team coming off a 61-50 league win over Blue Valley (Randolph, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 12-6.
The Mustangs (9-11) will now prepare for their bout against Onaga (Onaga, KS). The Buffaloes go into the Twin Valley bout with a 7-11 record. In their last bout, Onaga overwhelmed Frankfort (Frankfort, KS), 50-47, in a non-league bout.
