The McCool Junction Mustangs routed the visiting Dorchester Longhorns basketball team by a final score of 63-23 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 17. McCool Junction will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 7-11 record after their 47-45 non-league win over Hampton (Hampton, NE).
