Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD), 47-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kennedy upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Northwood (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Gladiators in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Gladiators come into the bout with a record of 3-14.

Next up, the Warriors play the Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Sherwood will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record.
