The Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) basketball nipped the visiting St. James Saints (St. James, MN), 52-47 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bluejays (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Eagles go into the AA Section 2 test with a 14-8 record.

The Saints now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman for a non-league test on Monday, February 13. St. James will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 65-51 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-8.
