Minnesota High School Basketball - Waseca succumbs to Fairmont
February 6, 2023: Fairmont, MN 56031 The Fairmont Cardinals topped the visiting Waseca Bluejays basketball team by a final score of 53-44 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN) in a AA Section 3 game, on Tuesday, February 7. Fairmont will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 8-8 record after their 98-92 league win over St. James (St. James, MN).
With the defeat, Waseca moves to 14-4 on the season. The Bluejays travel to New Ulm (New Ulm, MN) to clash with the Eagles in a AAA Section 2 outing on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 15-6. New Ulm won 53-51 in their recent non-league outing against Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN)
