February 18, 2023: St. Peter, MN 56082 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) and the visiting Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN), saw St. Peter's basketball squad overcome Waseca by a tally of 56-38.
With the victory, St. Peter improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Saints host Mankato East (Mankato, MN) to confront the Cougars in a AAA Section 2 challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Mankato East won 86-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN)
Next up, the Bluejays confront the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) in a AA Section 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Waseca will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 15-9 record after their 51-50 league win over Sibley East (Arlington, MN).
