The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) and the visiting Charleston Catholic Irish (Charleston, WV), observed Nitro's basketball team overcome Charleston Catholic by a score of 72-57.

The Wildcats (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Red Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 9-7 record.

In their next game, the Irish battle the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Charleston Catholic will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record.
