Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV), 77-49 in a league match.

With the victory, Nitro advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV) to face the Tigers in a Freelance match on Friday, February 7. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 8-5. Chapmanville Regional won 76-58 in their recent non-league match against Capital (Charleston, WV)

The Generals now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ripley for a Cardinal match on Friday, February 7. Winfield will face a Vikings squad coming off a 52-40 league win over Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Vikings record now stands at 11-3.
