Maryland High School Basketball - Glenelg thwarts Wilde Lake
February 11, 2022: Glenelg, MD 21737 The Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD), 60-46 in Friday's league test.
The Gladiators (8-5) will now prepare for their test against South Carroll (Sykesville, MD). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, South Carroll went down by Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD), 68-60, in a league test.
The Wildecats now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Atholton for a Howard County test on Tuesday, February 15. Wilde Lake will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 52-28 league loss to River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 11-2.
