Indiana High School Basketball - Anderson fells Muncie Central

February 11, 2023: Anderson, IN 46013

Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), 59-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Anderson upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Indians host Kokomo (Kokomo, IN) to play the Wildkats in a North Central bout on Friday, February 17. The Wildkats go into the bout with a record of 16-4.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Muncie Central will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 51-44 non-league win over Jay County (Portland, IN).
