Indiana High School Basketball - Iroquois West overwhelms South Newton
February 11, 2023: Kentland, IN 47951 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) and the host South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN), saw Iroquois West's basketball squad wallop South Newton by a count of 51-20.
With the victory, Iroquois West upgrades its record to 21-6 on the campaign. The Raiders host Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL) to play the Timberwolves in a challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 5-24.
Next up, the Rebels play the North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN) in a Midwest challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. South Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 42-39 league win over Frontier (Chalmers, IN).
