Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 81-59 in a league match.

With the victory, Ashbrook advances its record to 20-3 on the year. The Greenwave travel to Huss (Gastonia, NC) to face the Huskies in a 3A Big South match on Friday, February 14. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 15-6. Huss won 94-58 in their recent league match against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Point for a 3A Big South match on Friday, February 14. North Gaston will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 60-58 league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 12-11.
