The North Gaston Wildcats basketball squad (Dallas, NC), was outscored 66-51 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC)

With the victory, Crest advances its record to 13-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to meet the Jaguars in a 3A Big South battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Jaguars enter the battle with a record of 7-10. Forestview lost 69-46 in their recent league battle against Huss (Gastonia, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huss for a 3A Big South battle on Tuesday, January 28. North Gaston will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 69-46 league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 11-5.
