North Carolina High School Basketball - Crest triumphant over North Gaston

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) and the visiting North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), observed Crest's basketball team overwhelm North Gaston by a score of 69-24.

The Chargers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Shelby trounced Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC), 85-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Big South challenge, on Wednesday, December 18. North Gaston will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 61-53 non-league win over East Lincoln (Denver, NC).
