Wellington Skyrockets (Wellington, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX), 48-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wellington upgrades its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Skyrockets travel to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 15. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 18-6. Panhandle won 62-20 in their recent non-league bout against Hale Center (Hale Center, TX)
