South Dakota High School Basketball - Howard crushes Mitchell Christian
February 13, 2023: Mitchell, SD 57301 Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mitchell Christian Golden Eagles (Mitchell, SD), 58-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Howard upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Tigers host Canistota (Canistota, SD) to play the Hawks in a B Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Canistota lost 59-49 in their recent non-league bout against Parkston (Parkston, SD)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Mitchell Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 54-51 non-league win over Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD).
