Iowa High School Basketball - Wahlert tipped by Linn-Mar
February 13, 2024: Marion, IA 52302 The Linn-Mar Lions basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Wahlert Golden Eagles to 66 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a Mississippi Valley contest on Thursday, February 15. Linn-Mar will meet a Hawks team coming off a 73-68 league loss to Iowa City (Iowa City, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-20.
The Golden Eagles (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Iowa City (Iowa City, IA). The Little Hawks enter the Mississippi Valley contest with a 12-21 record. In their last contest, Iowa City nudged Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA), 48-46, in a league contest.
