The Northwestern Area Wildcats basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Redfield Pheasants to 36 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Herreid/Selby for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Northwestern Area will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 51-46 league win over Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Wolverines record now stands at 13-6.

The Pheasants (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Wambdi enter the A Region 1 contest with a 1-18 record. In their last contest, Tiospa Zina was nudged by Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD), 62-33, in a non-league contest.
