South Dakota High School Basketball - Northwestern Area overwhelmed by Roncalli
December 16, 2023: Aberdeen, SD 57401 The Roncalli Cavaliers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats to 38 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Groton for a A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Roncalli will battle a Tigers team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over West Central (Hartford, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Warner (Warner, SD). The Monarchs come into the B Region 1 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Warner triumphed over Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD), 49-37, in a non-league contest.
