South Dakota High School Basketball - Elk Point-Jefferson defeats Beresford
February 14, 2025: Elk Point, SD 57025 The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) basketball were winner over the visiting Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD), 56-46 in Friday's league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Centerville for a non-league bout on Monday, February 17. Elk Point-Jefferson will play a Tornadoes team coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD). The Tornadoes record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Beresford falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Watchdogs host Lennox (Lennox, SD) to play the Orioles in a A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Orioles go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Lennox won 75-56 in their recent non-league bout against Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD)
