In Friday's league contest, the host Concord Yellowjackets basketball team scored a good 58-42 win over the Reading Rangers.

The Yellowjackets (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Springport (Springport, MI). The Spartans come into the Big 8 contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Springport defeated Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI), 52-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI) in a Big 8 contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Reading will attempt to better on its 3-17 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 7-13 record after their 52-47 league loss to Springport (Springport, MI).
