The Union City Chargers bounced the visiting Reading Rangers basketball squad by a final score of 78-40 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Chargers clash with the Calhoun Christian Cougars (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Union City will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 3-13 record after their 63-47 non-league loss to Will Carleton Academy (Hillsdale, MI).

The Rangers (2-16) will now prepare for their outing against Camden-Frontier (Camden, MI). The Redskins enter the non-league outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, Camden-Frontier was overwhelmed by Pittsford (Pittsford, MI), 54-35, in a league outing.
