February 14, 2025: Greenwich, CT 06830 Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT), 60-42 in a league match.
With the victory, Greenwich upgrades its record to 4-9 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Newtown (Newtown, CT) to face the Nighthawks in a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. The Nighthawks enter the match with a record of 3-7.
The Vikings now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staples for a Fairfield County match on Monday, February 17. Westhill will face a Wreckers squad coming off a 57-38 league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Wreckers record now stands at 15-3.
