The McDonald County Mustangs basketball squad (Anderson, MO), was nudged 69-65 in Friday's league battle with the host Monett Cubs (Monett, MO)

With the victory, Monett advances its record to 10-11 on the year. The Cubs host Lamar (Lamar, MO) to meet the Tigers in a Big 8 battle on Tuesday, February 18. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 7-7.
