West Virginia High School Basketball - Nitro crushes Lincoln County

February 15, 2023: Hamlin, WV 25523

Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV), 74-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nitro upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Nicholas County won 75-46 in their recent non-league bout against Braxton County (Sutton, WV)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) in a Freelance bout, on Saturday, February 18. Lincoln County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Big Blacks go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 76-52 non-league win over Southern (Racine, OH).
