Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX) and the visiting Progreso Red Ants (Progreso, TX), saw Rio Hondo's basketball squad hold off Progreso by a tally of 46-45.

With the victory, Rio Hondo improves its record to 21-11 on the campaign.

Next up, the Red Ants confront the Vanguard Academy Rembrandt Spartans (Pharr, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Progreso will attempt to improve on its 26-10 season record.
