Maryland High School Basketball - Meade triumphant over South River
February 15, 2025: Fort Meade, MD 20755 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) and the visiting South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD), observed Meade's basketball team overwhelm South River by a score of 85-62.
The Mustangs (17-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Old Mill (Millersville, MD). The Patriots come into the Anne Arundel County challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Old Mill trounced Annapolis (Annapolis, MD), 70-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Seahawks battle the Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD) in a Anne Arundel County challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. South River will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 63-34 league win over Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD).
