In Tuesday's league test, the Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) basketball squad defeated the visiting Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD), by a final score of 77-67.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 17. Meade will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 6-5 record after their 58-52 league loss to Centennial (Ellicott City, MD).

The Gophers (6-3) will now prepare for their test against North County (Glen Burnie, MD). The Knights come into the Anne Arundel County test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, North County overcame Crofton (Gambrills, MD), 60-57, in a league test.
