West Virginia High School Basketball - University crushes Buckhannon-Upshur
February 16, 2022: Buckhannon, WV 26201 University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), 74-32 in a league bout.
With the win, University upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Hawks host Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV) to play the Flying Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 18. The Flying Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Woodrow Wilson lost 77-51 in their recent non-league bout against Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV)
Next up, the Buccaneers play the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) in a Big Ten bout, on Thursday, February 17. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 54-43 non-league win over Richwood (Richwood, WV).
