Minnesota High School Basketball - Loyola overwhelms Nicollet
February 16, 2023: Nicollet, MN 56074 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN) and the host Nicollet Raiders (Nicollet, MN), saw Loyola's basketball squad wallop Nicollet by a tally of 72-38.
With the victory, Loyola improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN) to confront the Bulldogs in a A Section 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-12.
Next up, the Raiders confront the Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country Giants (Le Sueur, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 18. Nicollet will attempt to improve on its 1-20 season record. The Giants come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 80-71 non-league loss to Mayer Lutheran (Mayer, MN).
