December 20, 2022: Sleepy Eye, MN 56085 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) and the visiting Nicollet Raiders (Nicollet, MN), saw Sleepy Eye's basketball squad wallop Nicollet by a tally of 72-43.
With the victory, Sleepy Eye improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN) to play the Greyhounds in a A Section 2 challenge on Monday, January 2. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. New Ulm Cathedral lost 65-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Central (Norwood-Young America, MN)
Next up, the Raiders play the Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Nicollet will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 80-37 league loss to Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN).
