St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN), 54-46 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Knights host Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN) to clash with the Cougars in a A Section 2 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Cedar Mountain lost 85-49 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN)
