The St. Mary's Knights basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers to 74 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart for a A Section 2 contest on Tuesday, January 10. St. Mary's will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 57-54 league win over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-6.
