Fans at Monday's league challenge between the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) and the visiting Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN), saw New Ulm Cathedral's basketball squad wallop Sleepy Eye by a tally of 56-32.

With the victory, New Ulm Cathedral improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Springfield (Springfield, MN) to play the Tigers in a A Section 2 challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Springfield lost 79-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN)

Next up, the Indians play the Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Sleepy Eye will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 79-59 non-league loss to Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN).
