South Dakota High School Basketball - Red Cloud crushes Hot Springs
February 16, 2023: Hot Springs, SD 57747 Red Cloud Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD), 65-31 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Red Cloud upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Bennett County (Martin, SD) to play the Warriors in a A Region 7 bout on Friday, February 17. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 6-11. Bennett County lost 58-28 in their recent non-league bout against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD)
Next up, the Bison play the More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) in a A Region 8 bout, on Friday, February 17. Hot Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 56-18 non-league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD).
