The Hardin Northern Polar Bears basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Elgin Comets to 37 in the Polar Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Polar Bears now sport a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Baltimore for a Northwest Central contest on Friday, February 23.

The Comets (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against North Union (Richwood, OH). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, North Union was nudged by Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH), 73-62, in a league contest.
