Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Rogers knocks off Cranston West
February 17, 2023: Newport, RI 02840 The Rogers Vikings trounced the visiting Cranston West Falcons ice hockey squad by a tally of 8-2 in Friday's league bout.
With the victory, Rogers betters its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI) to confront the Northmen in a Division 2 bout on Saturday, February 18. The Northmen go into the bout with a record of 6-10.
The Falcons now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a Division 2 bout on Saturday, February 18. Cranston West will confront a Lions squad coming off a 8-1 league win over St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Lions record now stands at 11-4.
